PATERSON PUBLIC SCHOOLS The Superintendent of Schools ("Superintendent") of the Paterson Public Schools of the City of Paterson, ("District" or "Paterson Public Schools"), County of Passaic, State of New Jersey, together with the Paterson Board of Education, HEREBY GIVES PUBLIC NOTICE THAT SEALED BIDS WILL BE OPENED FOR THE FOLLOWING: BID # PPS-291-22 BID TITLE STAIR REPLACEMENT AT PS 12 SPECIFICATIONS Bid specifications and other documents for the proposed work may be obtained at the Paterson Public Schools, Department of Purchasing, Fourth Floor, Telephone (973) 321-0726. The documents may be examined and obtained there between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm, except Saturday, Sunday and Holidays. Bid Specifications can be requested via email at joman@paterson.k12.nj.us. Bidders shall drop their bid proposal (prior to the due date) at 90 Delaware Avenue, Paterson, NJ, Front Desk. Bidders may attend the bid opening via teleconference using the following link: https://us04web.zoom.us/j/871855428. ISSUING ADDENDA In order to give ample consideration to questions posed and for purposes of issuing Addenda, the District requests that all questions be presented to the District no later than one (1) business day following the pre bid meeting, via fax at (973) 321-0378 or via email at joman@paterson.k12.nj.us. BID SUBMISSION: All bids must be marked "SEALED BID" along with the bid number and must be submitted to: Paterson Public Schools Department of Purchasing 90 Delaware Avenue, Front Desk Paterson, NJ 07503 FAILURE TO ATTEND DOES NOT RELIEVE THE BIDDER OF ANY OBLIGATIONS OR REQUIREMENTS. Failure to comply with these specifications in their entirety may be grounds for disqualification. Bids must be made on standard proposal forms as provided in the specifications. All bids shall be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing on the outside thereof the name and address of the bidder and the contract said bid pertains to, addressed and delivered to the Paterson Public Schools, Department of Purchasing, 90 Delaware, 4th floor, Paterson, New Jersey 07503. A copy of the bidder's Business Registration Certificate issued by the NJ Department of Treasury may be provided with the bid proposal at the time of bid opening. If awarded, vendors shall submit a BRC within 10 days of notification. This requirement is mandatory and failure to comply will disqualify the bid proposal. -Bidders shall comply with the required completion and submittal of a Non-Collusion Affidavit. -Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. -One of the following documents will be accepted: Letter of Federal Approval, Certificate of Employee Information Report or complete AA302/AA201 form. Bidders shall submit with their bid: name, address, and telephone number of three (3) references -The contractor is advised of the responsibility to file an annual disclosure statement on political contributions with the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission pursuant to N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.13 (P.L. 2005, c271, s.3) -Any other items required by statute, regulation or by the specifications. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality of any bid or bids and to make such awards that are in the best interest of the Paterson Public School system.
