Site work for a water / sewer project in Texas City, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Texas City is requesting bids for renovations to the bridges and piers in Bay St. Park, located at: 800 Bay St. N. It shall be each bidders sole responsibility to inspect the site of the work and to inform himself regarding all local conditions under which the work is to be done. It shall be understood and agreed that all factors have been thoroughly investigated and considered in the preparation of the bid submitted. The City Commission plans to award a Contract; however the City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all formalities and technicalities, and to accept any bid which deems advantageous to the City. Each bidder agrees to waive any claim it has or may have against the Owner, the Engineer, and their respective employees, arising out of or in connection with the administration, evaluation or recommendation of any bid. Contractors are urged to make a good faith effort to utilize local Texas City business for project participants through subcontracts and/or suppliers. Bid documents and scope of work will be distributed electronically. Please make requests to: djhutchinson@texascitytx.gov.
