Sarasota County ("County"), a political subdivision of the State of Florida, will receive bids on the date indicated in Periscope S2G for the purpose of selecting qualified contractor(s) to perform scheduled and emergency repairs of utility infrastructure as stated herein. Bidders are required to comply with Part II, Scope of Services. Q & A deadline: May 06, 2022 3:00:00 PM MDT The County owns and operates 1,400 miles of potable water pipes with approximately 98,000 service connections. The wastewater collection system is comprised of approximately 550 miles of force mains, 780 miles of gravity mains. Additionally, the County owns and operates approximately 103 miles of reclaimed water pipes. The County also operates approximately 750 lift stations, 3 wastewater reclamation facilities, 9 vacuum stations, 3 water treatment facilities, 6 pump stations, and 2 elevated watertowers. The County also maintains a vast and complex stormwater infrastructure.
