The successful bidder will be required to enter into a written contract and to furnish a performance bond with suitable, reasonable requirements guaranteeing performance of the contract, with sufficient surety in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the amount of the contract, within twenty (20) days after the contract is awarded. It is anticipated that the bids will be awarded at the Board of Supervisors meeting on Monday, May 2, 2022 at approximately 6:15 p.m. at the Paradise Township Municipal Building. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to Paradise Township.Further, the Paradise Township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to accept bids on a line item basis for each type of material, and to reject any bid on material not found to be acceptable by the Roadmaster.
