Project Name: Gifford Rd, Roadway & Drainage Improvements is approximately 800 feet north of SR 113 and consists of adding curb and drainage infrastructure to the west side of Gifford Road as well as roadway resurfacing. This is a project partially funded by the Ohio Public Works Commission. All materials and equipment must meet the specifications of the Ohio Department of Transportation and shall include all the necessary barricades, signs, and lights and watch personnel. The work performed shall be under the supervision of the Lorain County Engineers Office. Bidders shall submit a list of available equipment and labor shall be paid not less than the prevailing wage rate as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Bureau of Wage and Hour Administration for Lorain County. Bids must be accompanied by a bid guaranty and contract bond in accordance with section 153.54 of the Ohio revised Code. Bid security in bond form, shall be issued to a Surety Company licensed in the State if Ohio to provide said surety. The project must be started 30 days after the awarding of the contract. The Board of Trustees of Henrietta Township reserve the right to reject any and all bids if it is deemed in the best interest of Henrietta Township and to waive any informalities or irregularities if it is deemed in the best interests of Henrietta Township to do so.
