This project is a renovation of Salt Air Vista Park. This project will install a new playground, new site fixtures, new plantings and irrigation. The project will construct new drainage within the park. Drainage work will include construction of new rock-lined swale, culvert, and paved concrete flume.
Location- 24615 26th Pl S Kent, WA 98032 Should a contract be executed, it is the contractor's responsibility to comply with all COVID-19 workplace health and safety measures established by the state Department of Labor & Industries or otherwise imposed by the Governor, the state Department of Health, or the Local Health Officer of Seattle-King County Public Health, or subsequent modifications to such health and safety measures as those authorities may issue, including providing all needed personal protective equipment. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Apprentice Utilization Requirements are mandatory for all public works estimated to cost one million dollars or more, in which case no less than 15% of the labor hours must be performed by apprentices. KCC 6.01.030. A cashier's check, cash or surety bond in the amount of 5% of the bid must be included with the bid. The City of Kent reserves the right to reject any and all bids on any or all schedules or alternates or to waive any informalities in the bidding and shall determine which bid or bidders is the most responsive, satisfactory and responsible bidder and shall be the sole judge thereof. No plea of mistake in the bid shall be available to the bidder for the recovery of his/her deposit or as a defense to any action based upon the neglect or refusal to execute a contract. Bidders must submit with their initial bid a signed statement as to whether they have previously performed work subject to the President's Executive Order No. 11246. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the day of bid opening.
