Proposed Solicitation Issue Date: Estimated on/about May 2022 Description: The work for this Project consists of exterior painting of 12 structures at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore in Empire, Michigan. Contractor is responsible for removing loose, checked, or flaking paint; filling all cracks, open joints, splits etc. with approved filler or caulk; removing and replacing all loose window glazing; priming all surfaces before painting; painting all surfaces completely covering all areas to be painted. New paint applied will match existing paint scheme. Match paint to maintain the historical look of historical structure. Type of Procurement: It is anticipated that a negotiated firm-fixed price contract will be awarded requiring submission of both a technical and price proposal. The government will consider an offeror's technical capability in comparison to its price. A source selection process will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 15, Source Selection Procedures, utilizing a Performance Price Trade Off process (PPT).
