Site work for a water / sewer project in Smithfield, North Carolina. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

**As of May 9, 2022. The Project has been rebid. There is no definite date yet for the rebid.** Enclosed are copies of the following documents for RFP #22-003: o Announcement of the Request for Services to install water meters; and o Proposal Form Should you have any questions concerning this Request for Proposals, please do not hesitate to give me a call (919-934-2798) or e-mail me at ted.credle@smithfield-nc.com The Selected contractor will remove the existing residential meter and replace it with the new 3/4" Meuller water meter. This will also entail cutting a hole in the meter box lid and installing the Nicor communication module, which will be used by the Town to read the meters, going forward. The Town will furnish the meter, the cable, and the communication module, only. It will be the contractor's responsibility to provide appropriate cutting tools and plumbing fittings, as necessary. The Town shall award a contract to the responsible and responsive contractor whose proposal is determined to provide the best value to the Town in accordance with the criteria set forth.
