As of August 19, 2022. The project is currently on hold and no information to rebid the project at this time. The City of Norcross is exploring the possibility of adding public Wi-Fi to (3) City of Norcross Parks (1) Lillian-Webb (2) Thrasher. (3) Pinnacle. 1. Dedicated Wi-Fi coverage in identified areas to provide free public Wi-Fi. 2. Field Site Survey to determine number of access points needed. 3. Firewall for Security 4. Partner with ISP provider to provide competitive pricing of internet services. 5. Portal page for authentication 6. Analytics on network infrastructure utilization 7. Fully managed platform by the chosen vendor. 8. Ongoing helpdesk support or 800# to manage connection issues. 9. Trenching, Electrical & Conduit work to install APs in the designated areas.
