Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Eighty Four, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a fire / police facility; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

This project consists of the Contractor furnishing all labor and materials required for completing all final site work at a partially constructed site, including, but not limited to pouring a concrete dumpster pad and installing concrete bollards with plastic sleeves; relocating and installing parking lot/street signage; installation of wheel stops for parking spaces; removing sediment from the storm sewer; installing storm sewer pipe and a catch basin; conversion of ponds into rain gardens; as well as landscaping; general site grading; traffic control; site preparation; and site restoration. Itemized quantities of work are provided in the Bid Schedule of the Project Bid Documents. Bidders will be responsible to view the project and project site on their own. Proposals to receive consideration must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bidder's Bond from a Surety Company authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, made to the order of North Strabane Township in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Proposal as a guarantee that, if the Proposal is accepted, the successful Bidder will enter into an Agreement within fifteen (15) days after Notice of the Award of the Contract. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates are applicable to this contract. All contractors must adhere to Act 127 of 2012 (Public Works Employment Verification Act). No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the same has been filed with North Strabane Township. No Bidder may withdraw his Proposal during the sixty (60) day period without forfeiting his Bid guarantee. The Owner reserves the right to reject any of all bids or to waive any informality in bids received.
