Construction is stated for 06/06/2022 Lease-Lease Back whereas Balfour Beatty Construction is the selected General Contractor for this project by the Simi Valley Unified School District Bids in excess of $500,000.00 must also have an approved prequalification with Balfour Beatty Construction prior to subcontract award. Any bid submitted by a bidder who is not prequalified shall be nonresponsive and returned to the bidder For any subcontractor submitting a bid in the amount equal to or greater than $1,000,000.00, a bid bond by an admitted surety insurer on forms to be provided, a cashier's check or a certified check, drawn to the order of the Balfour Beatty Construction, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price, shall accompany the Bid Form and Proposal, as a guarantee that the Bidder will, within ten (10) calendar days after the date of the Notice of Award, enter into a contract with the District for the performance of the services as stipulated in the bid.
