A certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of ten per cent (10%) of the bid, but not in excess of twenty thousand dollars ($20,000), must be submitted with the bid, guaranteeing that if a contract is awarded, the bidder will execute the contract and deliver the bond(s) required by the Contract Documents. Bidders must also submit a Consent of Surety with the bid, wherein the surety agrees to furnish the required bond(s) if the bidder is awarded a contract. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all of the bids or waive any informalities therein pursuant to applicable law.
