The city of saginaw is soliciting sealed bid proposals for the hauling and disposal Of street sweeping debris to a licensed landfill per specifications as follows The City of Saginaws Right of Way Division generates approximately 5,500 C.Y. of street sweeping residue annually. It is the intent to dispose of the street sweeping residue to a State approved landfill by contracting for the hauling and disposal of same on an as needed basis. The quantity given is for bidding purposes only and does not guarantee a minimum or maximum. Payment shall be made on the basis of each cubic yard of street sweeping residue hauled to, and disposed of, at a proper disposal site. Payment shall be paid every month upon an original invoice submitted to the City of Saginaw. One copy of the Contractors load ticket(s) must be provided for the City of Saginaws Right of Way Division records It is our intent that the term of this contract shall commence upon award of the contract, on or after July 1, 2022, and shall terminate on June 30, 2024. This agreement may be terminated by either party only upon thirty (30) days written notice to the other party for material breach of this agreement FIRST YEAR COST: (JULY 2022 - 6/30/23) HAULING AND DISPOSAL COST: $PER CUBIC YARD SECOND YEAR COST: (7/1/2023 - 6/30/24) HAULING AND DISPOSAL COST: $PER CUBIC YARD An original Bid Bond, Certified Check, Bank Money Order or Cashiers Check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount bid must be submitted with any bid in excess of $100,000. The AIA Document A310 - 2010 bid bond is the preferred format. Facsimiles or copies of the bid bond will not be accepted and your bid will be disqualified if submitted. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, or parts thereof, and to waive any irregularities which do not materially affect the bid document or otherwise conflict with statute or ordinance. Any rejections of bids shall be made only if there is a sound documented reason for same. Bid results will be posted after opening date. Each proposal shall be good for 120 days from the bid opening date, unless otherwise stated on the bid document. RIGHT OF CITY TO ACCEPT OR REJECT BIDS The city reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, or parts thereof, and to waive any irregularities which do not materially affect the bid document or otherwise conflict with statute or ordinance.
