CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 5/9/2022 11:00 AM BID TYPE Fixed Fee Contract Project is to be substantially completed by October 15, 2022 Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $500.00 per calendar day.Contract award will be considered on May 18, 2022 at the Board of Supervisors meeting beginning at 7:00 PM at the Township Building. The project includes the milling and repaving of the existing tennis court, skate park and basketball court, installing new chain link fence and gates, refurbishment and repair of existing chain link fencing, installing new sport court lighting and associated electrical facilities, installing new tennis net poles and nets, installing new basketball backboards and rims, applying new acrylic surfacing on the tennis and basketball courts and skate park and milling and repaving a portion of the parking lot. Proposals shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the proposal. Proposals shall be effective for 90 days from the date of opening. The successful low bidder will be required to provide a 100% performance bond or certified check, a 100% payment bond or certified check, a worker's compensation affidavit, and a certificate of insurance naming Amity Township and LTL Consultants as additional insureds, all within 20 days after the contract is awarded. A 15% maintenance bond will also be required upon completion of the project.
