This project is for select base repair. Locations will be marked by Municipality, at locations listed below. Excavate to a depth of 3". Edges to be saw cut, compact sub grade and place 3" 19mm 0-.3 ESALS PG-64-22. Seal all edges with PG-64-22. Sharon Drive between Blacksmith Road and cul-de-sac, a distance of 920 x 7 total of 716SY. Winding Creek Drive between Sharon Drive and Old Airport Road, a distance of 1,055 x 7 and 130 x 20 total of 1,110SY. Eagletail Court between Winding Creek Drive and cul-de-sac, a distance of 38 x 12 total of 51SY. Seneca Court between Winding Creek Drive and cul-de-sac, a distance of 401 x 7 total of 312SY. All bidders are required to contact Randy Maguire at 484-256-6572 to review the project prior to bidding. All bidders, contractors, and subcontractors must be PennDOT pre-qualified in Code (F) in order to bid on this project. Proof of prequalification required with bid submittal. Bituminous Price Adjustment as per Pub 408, Section 1104.04. Liquidated damages will apply at the rate of $850.00 per calendar day, after 8/11/2023. Each bid must be accompanied by bid security in the form of certified check, bank cashiers check, or bid bond, in required form, amounting to (10%) ten percent of the total base bid, payable to Amity Township. A Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract award shall be furnished by the successful bidder within 10 (ten) days after the contract is awarded. Prevailing wages apply to this contract. Amity Township reserves the right to reject any and all bidders, to waive any defects or irregularities and to make such award as it appears most advantageous to the Township.
