Demolition, site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Douglassville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and for the demolition of a sidewalk / parking lot.

The project includes the demolition/removal of an existing inlet box and 18” CMP storm pipe, damaged concrete sidewalk and curbing, and existing concrete/asphalt along the stream bank. The storm sewer will be replaced with a new 2’x6’ Type-C inlet box, 24” HDPE, and D-W endwall. The demolished sidewalk and curb will be replaced in kind, and the embankment will be stabilized with R-5 and R-7 riprap to the streams edge. Proposals shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the proposal. Proposals shall be effective for 90 days from the date of opening. The successful low bidder will be required to provide a 100% performance bond or certified check, a 100% payment bond or certified check, a worker’s compensation affidavit, and a certificate of insurance naming Amity Township and LTL Consultants as additional insureds, all within 20 days after the contract is awarded. A 15% maintenance bond will also be required upon completion of the project. Amity Township reserves the right to waive any non-material defects or irregularities in the bid, and to reject any or all bids or portions thereof. Project is to be substantially completed by July 15, 2024. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $500.00 per calendar day.
