Site work for a mixed-use development in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; and playground / park / athletic field.
Addition of approximately 930 bleacher seats and expansion of the press box at the Veterans' Memorial Park Softball Stadium on the campus of James Madison University. Note that this project is not a complete renovation of the stadium and significant areas of the stadium will remain as-is. The contractor is responsible for making themselves familiar with the site and scope of work for this project prior to bidding the project. It is critical that the contractor has a clear understanding as to which sections of the stadium will be renovated and which sections will remain in their existing conditions in order to properly create the interface between respective conditions. Bid Questions Deadline May 3, 2022, 12:00 PM February 24, 2023 Final Completion. Project Manager, Tim Shantz, shall be the primary contact person for all Issues regarding the contract after the contract has been awarded. Mr. Shantz may be reached at P-540.568.5909. The University is committed to exceed a target goal of 50% with businesses certified by DSBSD. For this specific project the University's minimum required DSBSD certified business participation is 50%
