As of May 25, 2022 No submittals were received on this RFQ, so the owner reposted a new RFQ. Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from consulting firms to provide facility development, design, and construction support for new park facilities on the west side of Highline Lake State Park near Loma, CO. We have developed a preliminary development plan for the property, and wish to proceed with the initial construction projects in the fall of 2022 and complete the first phases by June of 2024. The ideal consulting team will be experienced in planning, design, cost estimating, scheduling, and construction of park facilities and the related infrastructure. The team must include Colorado Licensed Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, Architects, Landscape Architects, and Industrial Hygienists. The State will issue one or more contracts over the course of five years to the Lead Consulting Firm, which will be responsible for managing the subconsultants on the team. The intent of this project is to begin making the preliminary master plan a reality for Highline West. The initial construction budget is $4 million, although that may expand in the future.
