Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Port Huron, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Port Huron Area School District will accept sealed proposals for the parking lot at Central Middle School, 200 32nd Street, Port Huron, MI 48060 Each proposal must be accompanied by an acceptable bid security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or standard form bid bond, made payable to the Port Huron Area School District in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid submitted. The winning bidder will have to furnish performance and labor & material payment bonds, the cost of which should be included in the project bid. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularity or informality in bids, to reject any and/or all bids, in whole or in part, or to award any Contract to other than the low bidder, should it be deemed in the Owner's best interest to do so. Work shall begin on or after June 27, 2022 and be completed and inspected by August 26, 2022. Install 80' by 60" Corrugated Metal Pipe (C.M.P.) culvert to a minimum of 6" below the existing ditch bottom or to a depth that will provide 1 ' of cover over the new culvert. Asphalt to be 5" in depth consisting of 2 lifts of 13A HMA over 14" minimum 22A Limestone Aggregate Base. Any remaining backfill required will also consist of 22A Limestone or compacted sand fill.
