Salisbury University is issuing this RFP to secure a contractor to furnish all labor, materials, supervision, equipment and all other services necessary to install telecommunication infrastructure and cables between Building PS (north of Guerrieri Student Union building) and Guerrieri Student Union (GC). Infrastructure will also be installed in the area of the PS building to various areas on campus to include 4", 3" and 2" conduit/High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) between various locations on campus. This includes the installation of hand holes and manhole. Contractor will provide and install cable management systems (cable trays and racks) and two Chatsworth (55053-703) standard 19' black rack in building PS. Contractor to provide and install Cooper B-Line Telecom Main Grounding Bar Copper Busbar 20" x 4" x 1/4 ". Install and terminate PE89 24AWG 400 pair telephone cable and Corning (or equivalent) 24 strand SST - Ribbon Gel-free OS2 fiber optic cable from PS to GC. Contractor to provide and install Circa 100 pair telecom building entrance terminals (total of 8 with four in PS and four in GC with Circa surge protection module (part no, 4b1fs-240). Contractor will provide and install Corning Rack mounted fiber optic management enclosures (CCH-03U) with Corning (CCh-CP24-A29) CCH PNL W/12 LC DUPLEX SM for 24 strands for GC MDF. All work to be done in accordance with industry and Salisbury University standards. It is the intent of this specification that the contractor shall provide a complete and well-constructed project, providing all materials and installation specified, or reasonably inferred, to provide a complete and finished project. The contractor assumes complete responsibility for investigation and determination of actual conditions.
