Renovation of an educational facility in Salisbury, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
This project, located at 201 Long Avenue, Salisbury, MD 21804, consists of HVAC and lighting upgrades to an existing high school campus. The multiple buildings total to a combined 144,700 SF+/- (excluding the gymnasium and auditorium building). Work will proceed in June 2022 and will be phased over the course of three summers, reference project schedule. A Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of bid is required with the bid submission. INCLUDE COSTS FOR PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BONDS. A Maryland Business License is required for all Subcontractors. All successful contractors will be required to execute a WT Subcontract (no changes) and submit a certificate of insurance meeting Whiting-Turner's insurance requirements. An excess liability policy of $2,000,000 will be mandatory for all trades. All contractors are subject to Davis Bacon prevailing wage rates. This project is NOT tax exempt. RFI deadline is due by EOB Wednesday, May 4th Whiting-Turner will notify bidders of additional bidding requirements via Building Connected. Certified Minority Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond to this notice. An overall MBE goal of one (1) % has been established for this project. Submit all RF l's through Building Connected. RFI deadline is due by EOB Wednesday, May 4th.
