The tender must be presented in an envelope and must clearly indicate the number of the call for tenders, the name of the tenderer as well as the mention CONFIDENTIAL. To be valid, any tender must be accompanied by a certified check, issued by an incorporated Canadian bank or by a Caisse populaire, payable to the City of Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines, for an amount equal to at least 10 % of the amount tendered (including taxes) or of a tender guarantee issued in favor of the City of Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines by an insurance company recognized and acceptable to the City, for an amount equal to at minus 10% of the amount tendered (including taxes). The guarantee must be valid ninety (90) days after the date of opening of tenders. The City does not undertake to accept the lowest or any of the tenders received. It also reserves the right to reject all tenders received, if it deems it appropriate, without being held liable or subject to a lawsuit or claim for costs or losses suffered by the tenderers.
