Remodeling and renovation of a mixed-use development in Vale, Oregon. Completed plans call for the remodel of a fire / police facility.
B. The Work consists of, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Demolition and disposal of existing 2,700 square foot Burns Junction Fire Station Crew Quarters Building. 2. Construction of an approximately 3,500 square foot facility to replace the existing crew quarters building. The facility is based on BLM's prototypical fire crew quarters plan, with the following features: a. Twelve bedrooms. b. Living room. c. Dining room. d. Kitchen. e. Laundry room. f. Four bathrooms. g. Radio room. h. Mechanical/Electrical room. 3. Facility R56 Grounding Design and Compliance: New crew quarters building will have grounding and lightning protection to meet Motorola R56 Standards and Guidelines (2005) for sites containing communication equipment. 4. Potable water system controls improvements and storage tank replacement. 5. Ground mounted photo voltaic net metering system. 6. Asbestos containing material (ACM) abatement and disposal: Abatement and disposal of asbestos containing materials identified in the ACM survey/report completed by Tetra Tech on 06/30/2015. C. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. The magnitude of this construction project is between $1,000,000 - $5,000,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
