The City of West Palm Beach is accepting bids from qualified and responsible Contractors to furnish and assume full responsibility for all labor, material, construction equipment and machinery, transportation, tools, appliances, fuel, power, light, telephone, water, sanitary facilities, temporary facilities and all other facilities and incidentals necessary, including supervision, servicing, taxes, bonds and insurance, permitting fees, traffic control, security, miscellaneous costs, warranties, general conditions, overhead and profit to perform the demolition of existing structures and construction of the Northwood Hills Neighborhood Improvements as shown in the construction plans and described in the technical specifications for the project. ITB NO. 21-22-118 6 SCOPE OF WORK Contractor shall furnish and assume full responsibility for all labor (including costs for overtime, nights, weekends, holiday and multiple phasing work), materials, construction equipment and machinery, transportation, tools, appliances, fuel, power, light, telephone, water, sanitary facilities, temporary facilities and all other facilities, taxes, bonds and insurance, permitting fees, traffic control, security, miscellaneous costs, warranties, general conditions, overhead and profit and other incidentals necessary to perform the Work, as shown on the construction plans titled "Northwood Hills Neighborhood Improvements" dated December 2021 and associated technical specifications. The Project overview is as follows: Project Location & Background: The City of West Palm Beach (City) has received a grant from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) through the Local Agency Program (LAP) to develop, design and construct American Disability Act (ADA) improvements, sidewalks, crosswalks and mill and resurface the roads throughout the North Section of the Northwood Hills Neighborhood, under a separate project (Northmore Elementary Sidewalks Project). Pursuant to the terms of the grant, the Northmore Elementary Sidewalks Project must start construction in October 2022 and be completed no later December 2023.
