The City of Ottawa, Traffic Services (the "City") requirement for ten (10) Layer 2 Network Switches (the "Goods") in accordance with the specifications, terms and conditions of this Request for Quotation (RFQ). All inquiries regarding this RFQ are to be directed to the Contracting Authority specified herein. Inquiries must be received in writing via MERX not later than Friday, 22 May 2022. Should the MERX system not accept the inquiry, bidders may contact the Contracting Authority by email. Both the questions and answers will be distributed to all potential bidders by way of written addendum, published in MERX, without identifying the source(s) of the inquiry. The City is not obligated to respond to an inquiry or question received after this time period has elapsed. The bidder shall not be entitled to rely on any response or interpretation received from the City unless that response or interpretation is provided by the Contracting Authority by way of addendum. Upon receipt of a written request by the City and prior to award of contract the lowest responsive bidder must, at its sole expense, provide the City with one (1) Layer 2 Network Switch for testing in order to verify the product provided meets the minimum requirements set forth under Schedule "B" Specifications. Testing will be arranged with Traffic Services after the closing date of this RFQ. The City is not bound to request testing from all Bidders. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com
