The purpose of this proposal is to select a short list of contractors to provide design-build services for the second phased of rennovations for Building 203 on America's Central Port property. Any contractor wishing to submit a Bid Proposal for this project will be required to submit sufficient qualifications indicating that they have the experience and capacity to complete this Project in compliance with appropriate specifications and requirements. This Request for Proposals is for a Design/Build team who will be responsible for the development of both the engineered design and construction of the improvements for this phase of the project. The proposed Phase II construction scope is estimated to cost up to $2.3 million and is expected to include the following work: o Extend utilities (electric, water, gas, and sanitary sewer) to the building; o Construct approximately 10,000 sq. ft. building addition; o Install warehouse lighting; o Install fire suppression and alarm system; o Build out of interior office and restroom; o Install office and restroom windows, doors, and HVAC; o Construct fire wall between office and manufacturing spaces; o Replace clerestory window panes; and o Miscellaneous site improvements.
