The County is seeking bids to purchase traffic signal posts, collar assemblies, bases, brackets, and other similar items to be used by the Department of Transportation. Central Ave., 8th Floor Clayton, MO 63105 nschauf@stlouiscountymo.gov Any questions regarding this IFB must be submitted in writing by 11:00 am CST on Thursday, April 28, 2022 to allow time for posting any additional necessary addenda before the submission deadline. All questions should be submitted via email to nschauf@stlouiscountymo.gov. The County may accept or reject any bids and may waive any irregularities in the quotes if such waiver does not substantially change the offer or provide a competitive advantage to any bidder. No bids submitted by email, or any modifications to previously submitted quotes made by email, will be considered. No hand-written quotes will be considered. A minority-owned business enterprise (MBE) is a for-profit enterprise that is at least 51% owned, operated, and controlled on a daily basis by a minority group member who is either Asian, Black, Hispanic, or Native American. A woman-owned business enterprise (WBE) is a for-profit enterprise that is at least 51% owned, operated, and controlled on a daily basis by a female. The original bid amount will be the basis for contract award. For example, a $100,000 bid with a 5% bid discount would be evaluated at $95,000. However, $100,000 would be the contract award amount and the amount paid to the bidder. Pursuant to Sections 107.400 and 107.401 SLCRO, all County solicitations, once published, are under a Cone of Silence. All communication from a Vendor or a Vendors Representative relating to this solicitation must follow the processes defined therein. The Cone of Silence will terminate at the time a contract resulting from the solicitation is executed or when all bids or proposals in response to the solicitation are rejected by the County.
