The project includes all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the demolition of the old Hoover Elementary School and construction of the City High School tennis courts and parking lot. Work includes the demolition and removal of all Hoover Elementary infrastructure including HMA paving, PCC paving, retaining walls, trees, utilities, chain link fence, tunnels, footings and building in its entirety. Construction includes the installation of eight tennis courts with post-tension concrete, tennis court surfacing, lighting, concrete retaining walls, new chain link fence, installation of PCC parking lot and sidewalk, site grading and other related work.Iowa All work is to be done in strict compliance with the plans and specifications prepared by MMS Consultants, Inc. Equal to 5% of the bid in the form of a certified check, credit union share draft or surety bond Equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, said bond to be issued by a responsible surety approved by the School Board, and shall guarantee the prompt payment of all materials and labor, and also protect and save harmless the School District from all claims and damages of any kind caused directly or indirectly by the operation of the contract, and shall also guarantee the maintenance of the improvement for a period of two (2) years from and after its completion and formal acceptance by the School Board. Monthly estimates equivalent to 95% of the contract value of the work completed during the preceding calendar month. Measurements for all work bid are the responsibility of the bidder.
