**As of June 16, 2022, project was awarded to Southern WV Paving but awarded amount is not available.** The City of Beckley, Raleigh County, West Virginia is seeking sealed proposals in response to a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the reconstruction of Nebraska Street from East Prince Street to Dyer Avenue, Washington Street from Saunders Avenue to Dyer Avenue, Ninth Street from Scott Avenue to Gadd Avenue and Tenth Street from Scott Avenue to Dyer Avenue in the City of Beckley. In order to receive consideration, a proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond from a Surety Company authorized to do business in West Virginia, made payable to the order of the City of Beckley in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid amount as a guarantee that, if the Proposal is accepted, the successful Bidder will enter into a Contract with the City. Davis Bacon wage rates, as established by the U.S. Department of Labor, and other Federal Labor Standard Provisions apply. Bidders shall comply with all State and Federal laws prohibiting discrimination in hiring or employment opportunities.
