The Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) will be moving to a new building later this Summer 2022. Items have been ordered for the new building and will require assembly once TDI has access to the new site. All communication regarding this solicitation should be done via email only. Please send all bids/proposals to george.salazar@tdi.texas.gov Case goods assembly services for new building. Vendor must assemble, as required, and place/install the following case goods: - Flip top training tables - 35 - Flat panel monitor carts - 5 - Bookcases - 89 - Conference tables - 5 - Credenzas - 15 - Sit/Stand Desks - 24 - Two-drawer lateral file - 25 - Metal storage cabinet - 2 - Executive desk - 27 - Computer credenza - 3 - Computer workbench - 10 - Adjustable height tables - 8 - Metal shelving units (108 in. - 144 in.) - 87 Vendor must supply all tools necessary for assembly. Vendor will be provided an area to work on/assemble items. Freight elevator will be used to move furniture within the building. Furniture will be placed in various locations between floors 3-12. If able, vendor may assemble items in the destination location or in staging area. Regardless of assembly location, freight elevator must be used. Vendor must take appropriate care to protect floors, walls, and other surfaces of the building, existing furnishings, and assembled case goods.
