Each bid proposal will be enclosed in individually sealed envelopes and each envelope labeled with the premise location on the outside of it. All bidders are welcome to attend. The City of Uvalde reserves the right to reject all bids, to award the contracts in what it deems its best interest and agrees to take action in 35 days. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 35 days after the actual date of opening thereof. Bids to clean premises will be awarded within 35 day after bid opening. Contractors will be paid by the city on the following Friday at 4:30 p.m. and after the work has been approved by the city staff. Work should start as soon as possible and be completed within ten (10) days of notification to proceed from the Code Enforcement office.
