As of October 24,2022, this project was awarded to LEM Construction Company, Inc. (LEM), awarded amount is $3,686,400.00. The Project includes replacement of existing influent lift station screw pumps and ancillaries, repair of the carousel basin structural bridge, replacement of the headworks motor control center (MCC), and area lighting improvements. The total estimated project cost of this contract is approximately two million, eight hundred thousand dollars ($2,800,000). A Cashier's Check or Bid Bond in the amount of a minimum of five percent (5%) of the total bid price executed shall be included with each bid. The Bid Bond must be executed by sureties or insurance companies that are duly licensed or authorized in the State of Texas to issue bonds or insurance policies for the limits and coverages so required. Further, such sureties must be named in the current list of "Companies Holding Certificates of Authority as Acceptable Sureties on Federal Bonds and as Acceptable Reinsuring Companies" as published in Circular 570 (amended) by the Financial Management Service, U.S. Department of the Treasury, and meet other requirements as provided in the General Conditions and Supplementary Conditions. Bidders shall provide proof of qualifications to perform the Work as described in Paragraph 5 of the Instructions to Bidders. Contract time of commencement and completion shall be in accordance with Paragraph 3 of the Agreement.
