The Project scope consists of replacing the entire fire alarm panel, all annunciators, smoke detectors, duct detectors, and A/Vs at the Home per the specifications provided in the Project Manual. The existing fire alarm system shall remain operational as the new fire alarm system is installed. Both systems are to be operational until the new system is complete. The Texas General Land Office ("GLO") and the Veterans Land Board ("VLB") (collectively the "GLO/VLB") seek a highly skilled contractor to replace the fire alarm systems at the Ussery-Roan Texas State Veterans Home (the "Home") in Amarillo, Texas (the "Project"). Texas State Veterans Homes ("TSVH") are for the benefit and recognition of Texas Veterans who have served in the United States Armed Forces and who now require skilled nursing care. Each TSVH is a fully occupied skilled nursing facility; the selected Contractor shall minimize disturbance to residents during performance of the Project.
