Renovation of a mixed-use development in Tuba City, Arizona. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Navajo Nation Division of Community Development - Community Housing & Infrastructure Department (DCD-CHID) is requesting for proposals from qualified Architectural & Engineering (A&E) firms with the expertise to successfully complete the Planning and 20% A&E Design Services for the Greyhills Academy High School. Project Description: The Pre-Planning and Design services are for the repair of the existing 9-12 grade Greyhills Academy High School located in Tuba City, Arizona. This includes a full evaluation and cost estimating of the school and dormitory fire alarm system, the upgrade of HVAC units for building 385 Dorms 2 and 5, and an evaluation of modifications necessary to repair the school elevator system. Detailed requirements for the complex use and upgrades will be described in the final design documents (drawings and specification) prepared by the A&E firm. This solicitation and work performed under this submittal are subject to the requirements of the Navajo Business Opportunity Act, the Navajo Preference in Employment Act, and the Navajo Procurement Code. Deadline to Submit Questions: Thursday, May 5, 2022 The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
