**As of June 29, 2022, Project has been awarded. Award amount is $643,926.35** Major items include 42,496 SY of milling, 115 SY of base repair and 4,410 TN of wearing course. The successful bidder, who is awarded the contract, will be required to pay portal Program a fee of 1/3 % of the contract award value. There is a minimum award fee of $100.00 and a maximum of $5,000.00. Bidders must confirm the fees associated with bidding through portal and the successful bidder is responsible for the fees associated with the awarded bid. A bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid, made payable to Upper Chichester Township, must accompany each bid. Attention of Bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in the bid package, particularly to the PA Prevailing Wage Rates, Public Works Employment Verification, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions, and the requirements for a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price and a one-year maintenance bond for 10% of the contract price. Upper Chichester Township reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids thereof, and waive any information in the bidding, as they deem are in the best interest of the Township.
