Site work and asbestos abatement for a mixed-use development in Binghamton, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a 1,400-square-foot educational facility; and for asbestos abatement for a educational facility.
Binghamton University is looking for an asbestos abatement contractor for demolition of an interior lab area. The lab was built in 1970 and has undergone a few minor renovation projects to date. The scope of work is, but not limited to: removal of duct work, doors, chemical hood, built-in furniture, sheet rock from stud walls, floor paint and mastic and trenching of slab on grade floor for pluming accommodations. The floor area is approximately 1,400 SF with floor to floor height for 14'-0". AMC include but not limited to: joint compounds, duct joint material, flooring mastic and pipe fittings. Accordingly, a deposit check in the amount of $49.00, made payable to Binghamton University is required. Failure to meet the deposit requirement to receive the bid documents from the appropriate source will deem the bidder's submission as non-responsive. Deposits less than $50.00 are non-refundable.
