Renovation of a mixed-use development in Binghamton, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 10,000-square-foot educational facility.
Binghamton University is seeking a qualified contractor to perform the HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical portions of the renovations of a 10,000 SF lab space in Science III to accommodate the relocation of occupants from another space in the building. The mechanical scope includes the installation of general supply and exhaust ductwork, air terminals, variable air volume lab supply and exhaust boxes and associated reheat coil hydronic piping, and system air and water balance. The plumbing scope includes the installation of (2) sinks with eyewashes and (1) emergency shower/eye wash combination. New Acid waste, domestic hot water, domestic cold water piping and tempering valves to support the new equipment. Relocation of two risers in the space including under slab piping. The electrical scope includes power, lighting and special systems such as fire alarm, data, audio/visual and card access Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Contract term: 65 Calendar Days
