*As of August 25, 2022, a general contractor has been awarded. Sealed bids are requested by the San Antonio Water System for the construction of the 2019 Small Capacity Constraints II project, SAWS Job No. 19-4525, for approximately 4,900 linear feet of 8-inch, 10-inch, 12-inch, 15-inch, and 21-inch PVC and HDPE sewer mains by open-cut, pipe-burst, and boring methods in the Vance Jackson area, Central Los Angeles Heights area, and Prospect Hill area in San Antonio. This includes the abandonment of approximately 2,600 linear feet of sewer mains in the Vance Jackson area and Central Los Angeles Heights area. The Old Brooks segment from the Multiple Sewershed Package 15 (MSP 15) is similar in work type, locale, and jurisdictional constraints consisting of 447 linear feet of 15-inch sewer mains proposed to be replaced by open-cut methods. If Bidders intend to submit bids electronically, Bidders will need to submit a request by May 19, 2022 10:00 AM (CDT) to receive access to the File Transfer Protocol (FTP) site via email to roxanne.lockhart@saws.org.
