The Town of Midland (Town) invites proposals for the provision of professional consulting services from firms experienced in the preparation of local municipal Community Improvement Plans. This project encompasses two major components: 1. Attainable Housing Strategy and Community Improvement Plan Generally, the objective is to create a new Community Improvement Plan (CIP) informed by a strategic framework to incentivize attainable housing and the identification of the most effective programs and guidelines to successfully implement the CIP. 2. Downtown Community Improvement Plan Review and Update Generally, the review will assess what updates are required to the existing CIP (i.e. geographical extent, policies, objectives, programs, etc.) to allow the Town to provide targeted assistance to strengthen and support Downtown businesses. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
