Renovation of a water / sewer project in Midland, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Town of Midland is seeking a qualified contractor to replace a Secondary Clarifier Weir Replacement at the Water Wastewater Treatment Facility. This RFP is to select a firm to: Wastewater Secondary Clarifier Weirs and Baffle Plates - Source and safely replace, install the existing steel weir plates, scum baffle plates with long lasting composite materials - Hardware must be Stainless Steel - Shop drawings are required - Maintenance Manual is required - Joints between scum baffles and weir plates must be sealed with appropriate material - Schedule the work with Town wastewater operations to have only one (1) secondary clarifier out of service at one time - Provide the Town with a detailed material and labour costs - Pieces must work with current secondary scrapper arm assembly All proposals rejected. Tender has been cancelled. If/when the project will be re-tendered is undetermined at this time.
