Bids will be received for two prime Contracts. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Contract No. 1 - Installation of approximately 4,400 LF of 8" PVC (all materials provided by the Contractor) & 3,400 LF of 16" HDPE (16" HDPE pipe provided by the Owner, remaining materials provided by Contractor) and all appurtenances. Contract No. 2 - Replacement of approximately 1,150 conventional meters with an AMR or an AMI system. This contract will have a base bid utilizing an AMR system and an alternate bid utilizing a cellular AMI system. Contractor shall provide and install all necessary equipment. The Contractor is NOT required to bid on both meter system types. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8 AM - 5 PM, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Bidding Documents also may be examined online at Quest CDN, SW News; the office of the Beckham County RWS&SWMD No. 1, on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9 AM - 4:30 PM; and at the Office of the Engineer listed above. If obtaining a hard copy set, please notify wdb engineering, pllc at least 24 hours prior to picking up the hard copy set. hard copy sets may be mailed to the bidder only if the bidder provides a fedex or ups account number to the sender, wdb engineering, pllc. refunds will not be made. prime bidder must be listed on the questcdn plan holder list, otherwise the bid proposal will be rejected. the owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. each bidder must purchase plans from quest cdn or wdb engineering, pllc and appear on the official planholder's list. any bid received by a bidder not appearing on the official planholder's list will be rejected without being read. neither owner nor engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of bidding documents, including addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the issuing office.
