The owner has determined a prequalified list of construction managers. The Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission (GSFIC), as "Owner," on behalf the of the Georgia Military College ("Using Agency"), is seeking Statements of Qualifications from firms interested in providing construction management at-risk services for a project known as Project No. GMC-016 Renovations and Expansion of Wilder Hall, in Milledgeville, Georgia. The Request for Qualifications can be downloaded from the Georgia Procurement Registry by selecting the documents tab at the top of this page. Interested firms should continue to check this site for project updates. Wilder Hall is extremely outdated and not in compliance with current codes. It does not have a fire alarm or sprinkler system. It is not ADA accessible and lacks adequate restroom facilities for even modest occupancy with currently only two small restrooms with one fixture each. Neither of which meet ADA code requirements. GMC needs additional educational space in Milledgeville as part of the Reimagine Task Force effort and vision to reduce manning at our satellite facilities returning as much as possible to our traditional main Milledgeville campus. Wilder Hall is in dire need of modernization and expansion to continue to serve its original purpose as an educational facility. The requested restoration and renovation funding will ensure Wilder Hall's return to supporting the next generation of student leaders well into the 21st century.
