NORTH PALOS FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT is accepting sealed bids for a Roof Replacement Project of its Station #1 at 10629 S. Roberts Road, Palos Hills, IL 60465. Specifications and contract documents may be obtained at: northpalosfire.org/content/transparency/ Project specification questions should be directed to Structural Technologies, Inc. at (630) 351-8200 or via e-mail: structecinc@gmail.com Scope-of-Work: As detailed in specifications and bid documents, the existing roof system, underlying insulation, roof accessories, sheet metal gutters, and perimeter edge metal shall be completely removed and discarded. As indicated in the Specifications, Drawings and Details, the Contractor shall install new vapor barrier membrane, new insulation and a new Modified Membrane roof system, new flashings, new sheet metal, etc.. Vertical metal wall panels and soffits installed adjacent to the designated roof sections will be separately bid for removal and replacement with new pre-finished interlocking metal wall panels and flush soffit panels. Plans, Specifications, Contractor's Bid Form will be distributed at the Pre-Bid Meeting or may be downloaded from the district website. Not required at time of Bid Additional Requirements: Prevailing Wage Rate Job & Contractor to submit Certified Payroll, Contractor must complete all Bid Documents and Bidder Requirements as required by North Palos Fire Protection District in conjunction with this project, post all necessary Bid and Labor & Payment Bonds and complete all written documentation as required by North Palos Fire Protection District. The NORTH PALOS FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT reserves the right to reject any or all bids received, to waive any formalities of technicalities of the Bid or to reject any non-responsive bid in the interest of the NORTH PALOS FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT.
