The project will also provide a new recessed pipe vault adjacent to the existing cooling tower structure. PLEASE NOTE: The selected prime contractor must self-perform at least fifty (50%) percent of the project work. Commencement of the Work on the project shall be subject to the discretion of Moraine Valley Community College. TIME OF COMPLETION: The chilled water plant needs to be operational by March 31, 2023. This means that the cooling towers, pumps and associated piping, controls and electrical shall be substantially complete by March 31, 2023 and substantially complete by March 31, 2022. The air-cooled chiller, associated piping, controls and electrical shall be substantially complete by April 28, 2023.
