The City of Redwood City is seeking to establish agreements with consultants for on for on call environmental review services, beginning in July 2022, in connection with medium to large development projects or policy projects. From time-to-time Community Development and Transportation Department requires additional professional and technical expertise in environmental review and analysis. It is anticipated that a portion of the services could be provided by either an individual person or a firm. Each proposer should identify whether they wish to be considered for an on-call agreement. A general description of services is listed below. The Scope of Services is more specifically described under Exhibit "A" of this RFP. More generally, the City desires a high level of professionalism and customer services to residents, businesses, contractors and non-profit organizations through continuity of on call environmental services. The selected Consultant shall provide on call environmental services of residential or non-residential projects as requested by the City. Such services shall include: - Sufficient personnel, time and other resources to deliver on call services that may arise with short notice, for a period of up to three years. - Provision of guidance and expertise regarding potential CEQA review and preparation of CEQA documents on upcoming projects, as requested by the Project Administrator. - Providing up-to-date knowledge about recent CEQA case law and changes to requirements, and experience with CEQA Streamlining Exemptions, particularly 15183, 15331, and 15332. Specific questions concerning the RFP should be submitted via email to the RFP Coordinator, before the date identified in Section I. subsection D. "Firm Selection Schedule". Questions should clearly identify the relevant section of the RFP related to the question being asked. Questions regarding the information contained in the RFP document must be submitted in writing, by email to: Melissa Bekele: mbekele@redwoodcity.org All questions must be received by 5:00 p.m. on April 29, 2022. Questions will be responded to via email. Written summaries of all questions and answers will be distributed to each consultant who submitted an Email of Intent to Respond by 5:00 pm on May 2, 2022. Anonymity of the source of specific written questions will be maintained in the written responses. A clarification addendum will be issued, if necessary. The City reserves the right to amend this RFP in writing at any time. The City also reserves the right to cancel or reissue all or any part of the RFP at its sole discretion. If an amendment is issued, it will be provided to all vendors who have submitted a email of Intent to Respond via email. Firms will respond to the final written RFP including any exhibits, attachments, and amendments issued by the City. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
