1K8-22-S, 19742 Furnishing all labor, materials and equipment and performing all work necessary to: Claremore Base Bid: Remove and Replace Existing AWOS Grove Base Bid: Remove and Replace Existing AWOS Sallisaw Base Bid: Remove and Replace Existing AWOS South Grand Lake Base Bid: Install AWOS If a bidder is unable to submit an electronic bid due to conditions out of their control, such as, a disabled network server, power outage, or other unforeseen emergency, the bidder must request and receive approval to submit a paper bid. This written approval should include the justification for the request and be taken to the Office Engineer for signature prior to the bid opening. Once signed, include the approval form with the submitted bid. Ensure the sealed bid is delivered to Office Engineer Division prior to the scheduled bid opening. Unless otherwise specified in the proposal, all bids must be submitted with a proposal guaranty equal to 5% of the bid total. Bids submitted electronically must have their bid bonds verified electronically through the electronic bidding system. Written bids must have their bond stapled to the back of the proposal. In lieu of a bid bond, a certified/cashiers check made payable to the Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission may be submitted as a proposal guaranty. Checks must be delivered to Office Engineer Division prior to the bid opening. Proposal checks will be held or returned by the Department. The Department will return Proposal Guaranties to unsuccessful bidders immediately after the selection of the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. The Department will return the successful bidder's Proposal Guaranty after the Contract and bonds have been signed by the Contractor and received and executed by the Department. Engineer will be present. For all site visits, Contractors shall RSVP with the engineer to perform a site visit. If no RSVPs are received a site visit will not be conducted Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the amount of five (5) percent of the total amount of the bid. The bid guaranty may be by certified check or bid bond made payable to the Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission. Bids may be held by the Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission for a period not to exceed ninety (90) calendar days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of evaluating bids prior to award of contract. The right is reserved, as the Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission may require, to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bids received. Attachments to the bid such as Bidders Qualification Statement and Financial Statement can be submitted to the Engineer directly via email.
