COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the procedures contained in FAR Part 12.6, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition is for the selected contractor to provide service(s) for the repair of a screenhouse. (A) The solicitation number is 12905B22Q0064 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). (B) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) Number 2022-04 issues January 26, 2021. Project Requirements: Contractor shall furnish a technical and cost proposal to install the following A. Contractor shall provide labor to remove existing damaged screen around the structure and replace with the provided stainless steel mesh. Lathe will be provided for attaching the mesh. B. Contractor shall provide labor to remove existing roofing material and replace with clear corrugated Polycarbonate. Lap Fasteners, Lap Fastener Screws, #14x2" Wood screws w/ 19mm umbrella washer, Horizontal Closure strips will be Provided. Documents: Provided Materials list of materials provided for Project. Description of Work: Total repair of exterior of our approximately 100' L x 35' W x 16' H screenhouse. Job includes labor to remove and install approximately 3552 SQ FT of existing roofing and replace with the provided 48 sheets of 4'W x 18.5'L clear corrugated Polycarbonate, all fastening material will also be provided, see attached orders. Job also includes replacing damaged screen areas around the screenhouse to include approximately 30 Sections of screen with the provided 4 rolls of 60x60, 0.00045" T-316 Stainless steel mesh. Tensile Bolting cloth, Opening Size: 0.01217". Lathe will be provided for attaching the mesh.
