Site Preparation - Bidder shall include the preparation of site in their base bid. Any spoils shall remain on site. Removal and disposal of marked existing play equipment is required and shall be included in base bid.
Restoration - Bidder is responsible for a restoration of disturbed areas.
Footings - Unless otherwise specified, the bury on all footings shall be 34" below Finished Grade (FG) on all in-ground play events/posts. Other types of anchoring are available upon request.
Installation - Bidder shall adhere to the notebook or packet of order-specific, step-bystep instructions for assembly of each component, which includes equipment assembly diagrams, estimated hours for assembly, footing dimensions, concrete quantity for direct bury components, fall height information, area required information and detailed material specifications. Playground equipment installation supervisor shall be specifically trained and certified by the manufacturer of the playground equipment being installed and be able to provide proof of said training and certification. The School District intends to communicate with Proposers via e-mail (e.g., RFP clarifications and Addenda). Except for the delivery of the Proposal itself, references in this RFP to "written" form of communications, include e-mail. The School District reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion (for this provision and all other provisions contained in this RFP), to accept or reject, in whole or in part, any or all Proposals with or without cause. The School District further reserves the right to waive any irregularity or informality in the RFP process or any Proposal, and the right to award the Contract to other than the Proposer submitting the best financial Proposal (low bidder). The School District reserves the right to request additional information from any or all Proposers. The School District reserves the right to negotiate with the Proposers concerning their Proposals.
