Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Columbus, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Project involves storm water improvements at two locations within the City of Columbus. Below is a Summary of Work at each location: Base Bid: Culvert Replacement includes, but is not limited to, removal and replacement of approximately 400 LF of 91"x58" HERCP culvert pipe; removal and replacement of approximately 100 LF of concrete curb and gutter; removal and replacement of approximately 245 SF of concrete sidewalk; removal and replacement of approximately 20 LF of 12" RCP storm sewer including 2 EA storm inlets, and miscellaneous appurtenances; removal and replacement of approximately 250 SY of asphalt pavement; saw cutting; work zone traffic control; and erosion and sediment control measures, surface restoration, cleanup and miscellaneous appurtenant facilities required to complete construction. Optional Alternate Bid: Maintenance Dredging includes, but is not limited to, approximately 2,900 LF of creek dredging; clearing and grubbing; tree removal; and erosion and sediment control measures, surface restoration, cleanup and miscellaneous appurtenant facilities required to complete construction. All Work is included in a single prime contract. The Contract shall be subject to Wis. Stats. 66.0903 pertaining to prevailing wage rates and Federal Davis-Bacon wage rates. To demonstrate Bidder's qualifications to perform the Work, within five (5) days of Owner's request, Bidder shall submit written evidence establishing its qualifications. Bids must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to City of Columbus in an amount of 5% of BIDDER's maximum Bid price and in the form of a certified check or an electronic Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246.
