This project is to provide concrete crack filling, removal and replacement of concrete, catch basin installation, concrete island installation, sealing asphalt and line striping of various parking lots and drives. Fill existing identified cracks 1/4 - inches or larger (approx. 7,500 lineal feet) and seal with hot rubberized asphalt crack sealant in existing concrete area where otherwise surrounding concrete in good condition. 2. Seal coat pavement (approximately 81,350 square feet) including cleaning all dirt and debris. Sealant should be mixed with silica sand and be coated twice. First coat at a rate of at least 0.15 galloon per square yard. The second coat at a rate of at least .10 gallon per square yard. 3. Area by Northeast entrance will be removed (approximately 38 square yards) will be removed and replaced with up to 12 inches of stabilizing rock. Patching of up to 6 inches will be needed to meet the existing level of the parking lot. 4. Optional catch basin needed for proper water drainage to avoid ponding on west side on parking lot near parking garage. 5. Re-stripe the current layout which includes the motorcycle course striping. 6. Contractor shall provide all labor, material, parts, tools, devices and equipment necessary to complete the project. 7. Contractor is responsible for obtaining any local or regional permits required. 8. Work shall be completed in accordance with accepted practices. 9. Contractor shall deliver to Clinton Community College Facilities Manager all safety data sheets for all materials, sealants, chemicals and coatings used at the property. 10. Materials shall be applied in accordance with manufacturer’s directions. 11. The contractor shall notify the Clinton Community College Facilities Manager 48 hours before arriving onsite to preform services. 12. Contractor shall work with the Clinton Community College Facilities Manager to schedule areas to be blocked off. 13. The contractor shall clean up after EACH DAY’s WORK, including proper off-site disposal of job-related materials and trash. 14. Contractor shall provide W-9 (if needed) and certificate of liability insurance in accordance with the requirements and limits mandated by the Eastern Iowa Community Colleges. 15. Contractor shall submit an invoice upon completion of the project (100% completion), such statement to include a detailed breakdown of all quantities, unit costs, charges, and total costs.
